About us

THIRT13N is a non-profit whose mission is to “EXCITE, ENGAGE, EDUCATE, and EMPOWER our young people and our veterans to succeed in life”. Our primary goal is to help our young people and our nation’s veterans successfully pursue stable and advancing careers, those in our rural and minority-majority communities. We do this through several programs and projects that take our participants through career pathways from elementary school through high school, and then to college and/or employment, depending on the pathway they choose. What makes us unique is that our non-profit does not just consist of a single program or project, but rather a continuous journey that we guide our participants on until they achieve their objective, however long it may take. We help them get the education and training they need, develop the skills and experience required for their career of choice, and help them overcome any personal obstacles that may get in their way, such as lack of a driver’s license or childcare needs. This is all done through our various partnerships with leaders of industry, leaders within our communities, sports heroes, and learning institutions such as universities and community colleges.
