RFields Program

Inspiring the Next Generation of Champions

One Industry – No Limit. Be Part of Something Big.

The RFields program inspires and helps our young people pursue a successful career in the sport they are passionate about, not “on” the field but IN a field.

The Why

Most youth won’t become professional athletes — but the power of sports can still shape a powerful and rewarding future.

Their passion for the game can open doors to hundreds of careers that keep them close to the work they love. And when young people pursue a strong, successful career — in any field — they gain the stability and opportunity to achieve their dreams. For many, that pathway becomes the start of breaking the cycle of poverty for themselves, their families, and their communities.

How it Works

Using the Sports World to Inspire Real Careers

In every sport, the athlete may be the one in the spotlight—but it takes an entire team behind the scenes to make victory possible. RFields shows youth that while not everyone becomes a professional athlete, everyone can become part of the team.
We introduce students to the countless careers that power the sports world—IT, construction, sports medicine, media, engineering, hospitality, marketing, event production, turf management, and more. These are the careers that keep stadiums running, teams performing, and game days unforgettable. Through a structured pathway that begins in kindergarten and continues through high school and postsecondary options, students gain:

Together with our partners, we help youth see a new kind of “field”—one where they can turn their passion for sports into a powerful, stable, and rewarding career. With RFields, young people don’t just watch their favorite teams succeed—they become part of the team. They take pride in what they do, knowing they are contributing to victory. Not on the field where athletes play, but in the field that belongs to them.

Their field.
Our field.

Other Benefits of the RFields Program

The RFields program provides a number of vital services and support mechanisms to help our young students succeed in their journey towards a success career, including:

Round Table Initiative (RTI)
We offer several programs that will motivate our youth and spark their interest in a number of career options, by providing them with a series of interactive and inspirational talks from leaders of our community, including veterans, military members, sports figures, and industry leaders. One such program, Athletes into Mentors, or AiM, connects our youth with their heroes from the sports world to inspire our youth to aim high, work hard, and persevere no matter the obstacles.
The Jordan Way
Many of our participants comes from an impoverished background, where they lack many of the simple necessities the rest of us take for granted. So they can focus on successfully navigating their career pathway we offer The Jordan Way, which will help them overcome their respective obstacles. This could be meeting the need for childcare, obtaining a driver’s license, or any need that may serve as a barrier to their success.
Virtual Shopping Mall

Through our partnership with a number of retailers we provide our participants with access to affordable clothing, cars, and other items they need to help them in their drive to overcome the odds and achieve success in their lives.

Social Events
Through our model we will provide our youth with a unique perspective on learning, by teaching lessons on successful careers both in and through the application of sports, including at social events that make such learning fun, engaging, and intimate.
Industry & Corporate Partners

We partner with leading companies and businesses which will better position our career pathways for success, from helping us design the social enterprises that will lead to careers in the pathways to exposing our youth to industry leaders and networking opportunities along with access to high-profile events and activities. Our industry partners will also provide our participants with access to internships and apprenticeships as well as future career opportunities.

Educational Partners
We partner with universities, colleges, and other institutions of learning with strong ties to the local community as a way to provide our youth with the education they need, be it higher education or vocational education needed for trades. In this way we are able to ensure our participants specific needs are met, be they an advanced traditional degree or a trade certificate.
Technology

We will use technology to help us reach those who live in more rural and suburban areas, for which access to community leaders, training and education, and basic necessities isn’t as readily available. Using social media, mobile apps, websites, and webinars we will provide our participants who live in more disconnected regions with the able to attend classes and events, listen to speakers, and shop for needed products. Technology will also be a focus for us as a career option, and by providing access to the training, education, and leaders in the information technology field we will help open the door to careers in sports medicine, IT, marketing and manufacturing.

How is the RFields program implemented?

To implement our model we will contact school administrators to educate them about our RFields program. They will learn of this new and exciting program that is focused on sports careers, one designed to raise the aspirations of youth through the inspirational and beloved world of sports.

We will present to them the many career opportunities available in the world of sports, for which we have developed eight industry-specific pathways designed to provide our favorite teams with the skilled workforce they need to be successful.

Ignite a Passion. Shape a Future. Change a Life.

Partner with RFields to give young people the tools, training, and support to achieve meaningful careers.
